The home has a lovely, private garden that we enjoyed every day. This is a great place from which to base your adventures in Tuscany and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Our group stayed for a week. You can walk anywhere in town from the front door or within a few minutes set out into the beautiful countryside. We had fun cooking in the kitchen, which has many utensils for the cooks! The garden is expansive with all sorts of seating. We loved the couch swing. Lots of good conversations there listening to the birds. Each room in the house is comfortable and quiet. Cristina is a fabulous host. Very attentive and helpful. She was extremely friendly and helpful and met us at check in.The place was very well equipped particularly the kitchen with every thing you needed. No shortage of plates glasses or dishes. The garden was a beautiful spot and if the restaurants within walking distance weren’t so good we would have eaten more at home.It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable.Cristina takes great pride in this place and her love for it is obvious.Her attention to detail stands out. The photos give you a true idea of what it is like. I would highly recommend Cristina’s place if you want to visit Siena, Florence and vineyards without staying in the big cities.VerificataSalvatore2022-12-28Chianti best house was an incredible place to stay. Rooms were spacious, well appointed, and beds and linens were extremely comfortable. There is definite pride of ownership here. It is also extremely close to the downtown Square, a beautiful place to have a coffee, do some shopping, or see the sights. It is very unusual to have a standalone house with four bedrooms so close to downtown Greve. Cristina and Antonella are great hosts, they take care of everything and want you to be happy and enjoy your stay. We will be back for future visits and look forward to staying here again. We stayed here over the Christmas break, and they stay was perfect, but it would also be nice to stay here in warmer weather and use the giant patio and yard for dining “al fresco” outside. La casa muy cómoda, todo funciona muy bien, ubicación óptima. Supermercado a 1 cuadra, la plaza central a 2 cuadras, todo óptimo. Muy bien atendidos por Cristina, siempre atenta a nuestras preguntas y dudas. Terminamos cansados, pero felices!VerificataAlison2022-08-18Cristina was a spectacular host - greeting us upon arrival and checking in during our 10-day stay to ensure all was well and that we had settled in. She even made a point to check in and say goodbye upon our departure. There was a holiday during our stay, and Cristina was very helpful with clarification of the modified recycling/trash schedule, as well as helping us to understand what might be open despite the holiday. She even had tips for local restaurants, how best to travel to Florence by car or bus, and suggestions for traveling to Siena as well. She's also provided a plethora of information in the house for local wineries, tasting rooms, history of surrounding towns, where to visit, and the list goes on. Chianti Best House is, by far, the most well thought-out rental house I've stayed in, and I've stayed in quite a number of properties around the United States and Europe.The property was as advertised, and more! The kitchen was well-appointed, with everything we needed to cook and eat meals with a group of nine for ten days! If there was a specific glass type we wanted for beer, wine, aperitifs, they were in the cabinet. Multiple methods of making coffee/espresso were available, too! Not only was there a full house with kitchen, living room, four bedrooms and two bathrooms, but plenty of space in the kitchen for food prep. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedroom were a godsend during warm August evenings, enough to make sleeping very comfortable. The house itself also stayed magically cool inside - even without AC - despite the 95-degree days we experienced.The outdoor spaces were also incredible, and even better than the pictures/descriptions indicate: a front patio overlooking the street, a full covered dining area, and multiple additional spots to sit, lounge, and relax in the backyard. Speaking of, the backyard was complete with fruit (grapes, plums, cherries and more) and herbs (thyme, oregano, rosemary, and sage) which we were able to utilize for our meals. The fresh herbs made all things at Chianti Best House taste all the better. As for the town of Greve, we were able to walk to the market (COOP), which had everything we could need - including an experienced, friendly, and helpful butcher that custom cut a pork loin to order despite a language barrier and lots of hand gestures describing what we wanted. Multiple tasting rooms, butchers, bakeries, salami shops, and restaurants peppered the town and historic city square, making the town a place you could really feel like you lived in and weren't just visiting as a tourist.Bottom line - I wouldn't hesitate to book with Cristina again should we be trying to have another family reunion in the heart of Tuscany and the Chianti Classico region.VerificataYasmine2022-08-07Cristina est une tres bonne hôte et de bons conseils.
